Susann is very experienced (20 years) in working on all skin types especially mature skins where the skin is very fine, sensitive or wrinkled.  Important note - these skin types require high expertise by your therapist to complete a beautiful outcome.

PROCEDURE

Eyebrow (micropigmentation) tattoo is a beauty procedure whereby Susann will enhance/replace your diminished brow with a new shape and implant a specialised pigment colour that is carefully chosen to suit you.  There are three different types of techniques that we can use to create your desired outcome these are as follows....

Feather Brow - this technique gives you the effect of very fine hair strokes that blend evenly into your natural brow hair.  A gorgeous natural look.

Ombre Brow - this technique mimics the appearance of when you apply a powder to your brows or when you have a brow tint BUT with the Ombre tattoo you get a perfectly designed shape and the colour lasts 1-2 years looking great.  This far out weighs any messy powder or poor tinting techniques you may have tried in the past.

Combination Brow - a technique using the feather stroke and the ombre technique.  At your consultation/treatment we will discuss which treatment will best work for you.

Susann will revive the original shape of your brow or create a new brow shape for you.  This is done by carefully designing a pre mapped/drawn template perfectly designed on your brow bone so you get to see prior to treatment the shape of your new brow.  A specialist pigment colour is then implanted into your skin to create your beautiful new look.  Your appointment takes approximately 90 minutes however I do allow 2 hours of my time for you.  The sensation is similar to having your eyebrows plucked.  All cosmetic tattoo treatments require the initial treatment and a follow up retouch treatment 5-6 weeks later, at this point your full eyebrow treatment is complete.  The pigment colour we implant will last anything form 1-2 years looking sharp, the fade out time depends on the lightness or darkness of the colour implanted and sun exposure will fade tattoo also so be sure to wear a good sunscreen.

PRE TREATMENT CARE

• Any tweezing/waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to appointment.
• The treatment will cause slight swelling and redness for 24 hours so some clients prefer not to make any social plans for a few days after.
• No direct sun on the area for 24 hours prior.
• No skin lesions, dermatitis, eczema on brow area.
• Refrain from using alcohol, blood thinning medications for 24 hours prior to treatment. (No medications should be stopped without consulting your doctor if prescribed) 
• No Panadol or Nurofen 12 hours prior to treatment (if possible)
• No use of retinoid medications and if so in the recent past please inform therapist.
• If taking a fish oil refrain from this for at least 2 weeks prior.

AFTER TREATMENT CARE

• Immediately following the treatment the colour intensity of your tattoo will be significantly darker or brighter than what the final healed outcome will be.
• Do not expose your treated area to direct sun, wind, water, any type of swimming, excessive exercise causing severe sweating for 7 days.
• Do not pick, scratch or continuously touch the treated area hence to prevent infection.
• Apply bepanthen cream 1-2 times a day.  A small amount only.
