Susann is very experienced (20 years) in working on all skin types, especially mature skins where the skin is very fine, sensitive or wrinkled.  Important note - these skin types require high expertise by your therapist to complete a beautiful outcome.

PROCEDURE

Are you tired of applying eyeliner every day and having it smudge by midday?  Eyeliner tattoo is a popular choice and a treatment Susann has down to a fine art... and a fine art it certainly is!  It requires perfect precision and an impeccable hand/brain coordination.

Eyeliner Tattoo is a treatment whereby we implant a pigment colour into the upper or lower eye line.  This will frame the eye and make your eyes more of a feature on your face again.  It is suitable for all ages 18 - 80 years.  You can get the look with a soft smokey grey for those dreamy eyes, a brown or black for something a little more noticeable or soft purple, blue, olive hues of colour. There are many colours you can choose from.  Eyeliner Tattoo can be as thick or as thin as your personal preference requires. I am here to help you decide if you are unsure.  All eyeliner tattoo procedures involves two treatments at 6 week interval.  The initial treatment, when the full tattoo/design is completed and the perfection treatment 6 weeks later whereby any adjustments required are made.

Eyeliner tattoo is great for busy woman, people who wear contact lenses or glasses, swim, exercise or just for those who’s pencil eyeliner never stays where it should!!  Eyeliner is an absolute time saver for woman in the morning and for those who have difficulty applying a perfect line with pencils and liquid liners, it is not an easy task.  As we age our skin becomes heavy with fine lines around the eye area and this is why eyeliner pencil will never stay where you want it to.. the warmth generated from the extra heavy skin melts the pencil and leaves it smudging around your eye.... not a good look!              However, eyeliner tattoo is perfect all day and all night.  It certainly is a dream treatment, and its extremely cost effective considering how long it lasts...years!

PRE TREATMENT CARE

• No eyelash extensions 2 weeks prior to or on day of treatment.  6 weeks after final treatment you can have have your eyelash extensions reapplied if need be but more often than not clients find that the new eyeliner tattoo is enough and no longer require the extended lash's.
• No use of eyelash growth serums for 6 weeks prior to treatment and 6 weeks after 2nd treatment.
• Since the skin around the eye is delicate,  they will be slightly swollen for 24 hours after treatment so clients sometimes like to put off any social events for a few days.
• Do not wear contact lenses to the treatment please wear your glasses instead.  Your contact lenses can be used again 24 hours after treatment.
• No dermatitis or skin problems on area to be treated.
• Refrain from using alcohol, blood thinning medications for 24 hours prior to treatment.  (No medications should be stopped without consulting your doctor if under a specialist.)
• No use of retinoid medications and if so in the now or recent past please inform therapist.
• If taking fish oil please refrain from using for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
• Generally 2 treatments 6 weeks apart are required.

AFTER TREATMENT CARE

• Immediately after your treatment the colour density will be significantly darker or brighter than what the final healed outcome will be.
• Refrain from using your contact lenses for 24 hours.
• You can use eyedrops if your eyes are feeling tired
• Do not pick or scratch the area, always keep area clean.
• Apply a small amount of bepanthen cream once a day for 5 days only.
• Do not expose your treated area to direct sunlight, spas, saunas, any type of swimming, direct water flow, exercise where extreme sweating will take place, mascara for 7 days.  It is suggested to purchase a new mascara as these products can contain bacteria once opened and if you have already used it for a little while.
• A very light crust will form over the tattoo and this will flake off 5-10 days after treatment, this is hardly noticeable.
